About this project
PitchThis project, is a computer based test simulator built for my level in the department of psychology. It contains the whole of 9 ( Direct entry students included) courses we're offering for the semester, with a question bank of 200 questions each built collated from the course material for each courses. The model of question setting was using the Bloom's taxonomy which test students knowledge when it comes to their understanding, remembering, analysing, evaluating and application of the concepts they've read in their course material. The simulator was done to emulate the actual style of CBT examination used by the School, with each session giving a random 35 questions for 25mins and a score of 2 per question gotten correctly. There's a review section after finishing a practice session, where users get to see which of the modules in their course material they excelled at, and which one needs improvement. Exams would come, and end by the beginning of July, but I'd be happy if it helps aid their reading with just the amount of time left( I launched it on Monday (15th June) ). I've made certain improvements to some nonfunctional attributes such as the timer countdown to zero to automatically submit session, the colour grading for each option on dark mode that causes straining of eyes Registration was a big challenge for some, but after dropping a guide on how to access their spam and click verification link, there's been no complaints since then. Sometimes, verification mail for account creation goes to spam ( which was a hurdle for some) I'd like y'all to check it out. I've attached screenshots of the account creators guide. From the login page Create one Fill account details Create an account Go to mail for verification link (button) Check spam if mail isn't in inbox Click verification button Redirects you to webapp with email verification success Login with account details Practice and explore.
