About this project

Pitch

Algorithmic playlists are trained on the median listener. Your friends are not the median. They're the reason you discovered the band you cried to in 2019, the artist who scored your most important year, the deep cut you put on at every dinner party. Folk FM is the radio station that plays only what they loved this week.

It works like a station. Press play and it goes — no playlists to curate, no infinite scroll. Songs your closest friends added to their week show up automatically. You hear their picks once, you skip if you want, and the station moves on. No re-listens, no algorithms quietly inflating engagement.

We don't recommend artists. We don't surface "you might also like." We just play what people you trust played this week, and tell you who put it there. That's the entire product.
