Share files instantly from your own cloud storage
Mert Topuz@mertAktar is a free, open-source macOS menu bar app for instantly sharing files through your own S3-compatible storage. Drop a file, Aktar uploads it to S3, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, MinIO or similar storage and copies the shareable link to your clipboard. No accounts, no intermediary servers, and your files stay in your own storage.
Hey 👋 I built Aktar because sharing a file shouldn't mean uploading it to someone else's cloud first. Aktar is a native macOS menu bar app that uploads files directly to your own S3-compatible storage and instantly copies the shareable link. No dashboards, no manual uploads, no hunting for URLs. Just drop a file and get the link in seconds.
