Chit is a free invoice generator built for freelancers, traders, and small service businesses — people who need a clean, professional invoice in under a minute, not a billing platform with a learning curve. The problem: most invoicing tools ask for an account, a card, or a subscription before you've even decided whether you'll use them. Chit skips all of that. Open it, fill in your business and client details, add your line items, download a polished PDF. That's the whole flow. It's the tool I wanted to exist — free because there's no real infrastructure cost left to justify charging for it.
